GM, Fiat Chrysler warn workers auto industry facing tough future

The auto industry has finally woken up! Too long has it been denying reality, ie it's a national industry with national stakeholders.

The industry relies heavily on government spending on infrastructures such as roads and fuel supply security. It relies heavily on independent technical support for affordable maintenance of customer's cars.

Yet, at every turn, it wants to offshore jobs, extort subsidies out of governments, and extort money out of customers (in excessive dealer servicing and parts costs).

Smell the coffee fat auto cats, you don't treat your goverment and customers with respect, you won't have an industry.
