Social media needs to be regulated.... if we do not do that these poor kids will have crazy things following them their whole lives. We should also be able to expunge negative, non-public record type information when we request it from any database.

@Saiko. I agree with what you say however the money is not on our side. When Zuckerburg and FaCIAbook went to Washington it was found Mr. Zuckerburg had donated to some (if not all) of the representatives who were questioning him.
Idealistically I agree (regulation but not over-regulation) however if the past is indicative of the future then not much is to be expected by from a bought and paid for political class.
I expect to see more regulation of us (more censorship) rather than those using and abusing personal data.

Its impossible to regulate social media. Why do people blame these internet services? It's not their fault. You can't blame all the parents. It's not like parents do tell their children these types of things aren't safe. Teachers even tell them at school. The only people at fault are the ones with the fake profiles getting these kids pictures plain and simple.
