Actress Erika Toda, 22, and actor Hayato Ichihara, 24, will star in Go Shichitaka’s forthcoming movie “Dog x Police.” The pair will play officers belonging to a counter-terrorist unit. Toda's character is also in charge of training “Handler,” a rescue dog.
In the process of preparing for the role, Toda observed the training of five rescue dogs that were dispatched to northeast Japan as part of the rescue teams after the March 11 earthquake. “It is my duty to portray the daily efforts, passion and struggle those dogs have," she said.
Rescue dogs differ from police dogs; in addition to regular training, they are also trained to rescue victims of natural disasters and major accidents.
"Dog x Police" will be released in October.

she is great in detective movies. Collaboration, training and observation can help her to work out with her canine friend. GAMBAREI, E.T

Really phoned it in coming up with that title.

Well, I hope if they catch terrorists in the movie they try to extract info from them by showing them already finished clips -- it sounds like torture to me. And the title? Sheesh.

I'll assume the irony is unintentional -- the human who works with a working dog is usually called its handler.

Can't wait for the "Winny Files" sequel.

Terrorists?
Does anyone know from which country, religious group or political faction they come from?
The only terrorists who have ever operated in Japan have been Japanese themselves.

That dog is huge. Never seen one like that in Japan. Airport sniffing dogs are all tiny little cute things with ribbons in their hair, wearing clothes fir for a king, and polished toe nails.
