Fans of Starbucks in Japan will be able to add some variety to their caffeine habit this month as the ubiquitous coffee chain readies its annual Japan-only “hanami” (cherry blossom) goods in time for the blossom viewing season.

Starting Sunday, aficionados can warm up with a piping-hot Caramel Sakura Chocolate latte or chill out with and icy Caramel Sakura Chocolate Frappuccino style. Both drinks will feature a drizzling of rich cherry and caramel sauce topped with shavings of subtly cherry-flavored white chocolate.

You’ll also be able to order a roast chicken sandwich with lemon butter sauce to sate your appetite while your there, and to satisfy the sweet tooth choose a slice of a cerise inspired Sakura Chiffon Cake. Stores will also be offering packages of the Starbucks Via instant coffee “essences” with an assortment of four flavors and cookies to take home, to the office or back out to the park.

Also on Starbucks shelves in time for spring will be the Bliss selection of sakura-themed tumblers, glasses, mugs and gift cards in pale pinks and other colors of the season. Closer to March, the company will bring out their Brilliant line of the same products but with in more vivid hues of hot pink.
