US President Donald Trump is reported to have said on 28 January 2018 that EU trade terms are unfair to US, warning that his many problems with Brussels may morph into something very big. Now towards fag end of February , 2018 , news has appeared saying that Trump wants to have changes in WTO. Just some days earlier on 20 January , 2018 , another news report has appeared saying that Trump Administration says US mistakenly backed China’s WTO accession in 2001. The news report said : - “ It seems that the US erred in supporting China’s entry into the WTO on terms that have proven to be ineffective in securing China’s embrace of an open , market-oriented trade regime”. A news has appeared in media on 24 February , 2018, as : - ‘ While ties have improved but China is absolutely killing US on trade says US President Trump’. There is something still more. Perception of US that NAFTA does not appear to be doing much good to them and as such , whether doing away with the pact could serve purpose. These somewhat identical views coming from Trump and Trump Adm on eve of February 2018 look to be corresponding to one of alerts of this Vedic astrology writer on 11 October 2017 in article - “ Astrological probable alerts for the United States in 2018” - published last year in monthly Webzine of Wisdom Magazine from US at wisdom-magazine.com/Article.aspx/4647/ on 1 December 2017. The related text in the said article reads as :- “ Near mid- March to 30 April 2018. US economy looks to be presenting a happy picture while some kind of hidden or behind the scene areas of substantial concern may remain. PAST ERRORS OR SLIPS ARE LIKELY TO IMPACT TRADING OR COMMERCIAL ASPECTS IN SOME WAY”.
Thus , it can be said that the alert prediction of this writer substantially prior , was precisely and closely accurate to the fact on the ground.

If the U.S is going down the trade war route there has to be a whole other level of strategizing with private enterprise in America among its exporters and importers that simply does not exist right now and hasn't existed since WW2. This is where China has a big advantage. The CCP has complete control of private enterprise. Until the U.S is able to secure a similar relationship with its own companies I would be holding fire altogether or limiting tariffs and other measures to key U.S economic sectors, number 1 of which, is high tech.
A complete ban on Chinese takeovers or mergers in the tech and A.I sector is long overdue. That should also be extended to countries with a broad Chinese diaspora, like Singapore. I was very happy to see the Qualcomm deal blocked, that would have been a monumental mistake.
