I've actually read lots of history which is one of many reasons I'm so anti-authoritarian, so opposed to what Trump and ilk are attempting to do by weakening the Constitution's balance and separation of powers to give the executive greater powers, one reason I'm so opposed to what Putin (kaiser for life) and Xi (emperor for life) are doing.

House Democrats have done the best that they can do, and this farce is the results. Trump didn't obstruct justice because House Democrats didn't seek justice in the courts (aka the other branch of the federal government).
