The screening process is voluntary, Wiggins said, but customers who choose not be screened won't be able to ride on the subway.

So they aren't voluntary. This is oppressive to poor people forced to ride. What about the increased cancer risks?

2000 people an hour is racial profiling. The scans of the genitals can be hacked and sold on the internet.

Not sure how effective it will be, unless a lot of money is spent, as 'most stations are unstaffed during regular hours'.
