Judge refuses to dismiss ex-Trump campaign chief's money laundering charge

When one engages in tax fraud and money laundering on the scale that Manafort is accused of committing it will be difficult to rule in his favor. By taking his chances in court like this he is assured of receiving a long sentence if convicted. Holding out for a pardon is futile. Cooperating and asking for witness protection would be his best option if he would like to die a free man.
