The American people, as usual, have not been consulted on this further destruction and occupation of another sovereign Islamic country. The intimidation and bribery of Congress by the Israel and AIPAC lobby are sufficient to dictate how America's blood and treasure are expended in furtherance of international Jewish hegemony.

While AIPAC and Israel do have undue influence on the US Congress, there is no conspiracy pushing international Jewish hegemony.

Let's see, Trump now owns two wars: Syria and Afghanistan. I thought he was such a good negotiator that he would have had our troops home by now. Wait, didn't he have a plan that was sure to make the US victorious in 30 days because he knows more than the generals?

I cannot wait to read the excuses right-wingers will start typing in response to this post. With any luck, at least one or two will be relevant responses.

only 2?

who said America could occupy these countries? Imagine if a yakusa invaded your house and told you to stay out of your living room because they want to use it for drug dealing? If you don’t agree they will kill you.

Assad is a scapegoat because he is NOT "Kim JonUn"! Syria has no nuclear weapons and calling his removal is possible even it is just a preceieved one!

Billed as the Trump administration's new strategy on Syria, the announcement will prolong the risks and redefine the mission for the U.S. military,

I thought Trump claimed he would end the war in Syria within months, that he knew more than the generals? He's showing he's just another warmonger, another global elite establishment MSM tool of the cabal. Or one of the cabals at least.

Is RExxon's 'patience' a euphemism for 'more time to feed the US war industries'?

And I also thought Putin had claimed a Russian military victory.

For the sake of the Syrian people at large, US, Russia, Iran, Saudi Arabia, all nations contributing militarily in any way in Syria, go home and take care of the messes you've made in your own lands.

I thought Trump claimed he would end the war in Syria within months, that he knew more than the generals?

He also claimed he had a health plan that would insure more people with better care, for cheaper, while not requiring anyone to join.

He also claimed he was going to drain a certain swamp.

He also claimed Mexico was going to pay for the wall.

Trump claiming these things isn't surprising - he was running for presidency and he told his base what they wanted to hear. What's surprising is the number of Americans that didn't have the intelligence to see through these bluffs for what they were. The rest of us were pointing that out during the election, but no one on the right wanted to listen.

Did Putin tell Trump the traitor boy to say that? Trump is Putin's puppet and a warmonger making a profit from this. And he didn't reduce the ISIS problem either! Go back to the mirror and see what an ugly liar you are, Donny boy.

Give em hell, Donny!

"But let us be clear: the United States will maintain a military presence in Syria, focused on ensuring ISIS cannot re-emerge,"

The US was very much behind the creation and support of the different terrorist groups from the very start.

The US should just leave now, they already have way too much blood on their hands.

Why is it that the sovereign nation of america must kow tow to the entity that is israel? It makes no sense whatsoever. Seeing as the un can't bite the hand that feeds it, can't we have a collection of bold countries that can actually hold america and it's ilk accountable for their actions? This can't be the end all be all.

What was the name of that song that Tony Iommi, Ozzy Osbourne, Geezer Butler, Bill Ward wrote?
