Is Donny going to continue to appease and capitulate to Kim?

Trump will back down.

The Trump administration has shown it cannot be trusted. Trump has clearly shown he's in way in over his head on international - and domestic - issues. Trump's too busy playing golf (on the taxpayer's hundreds of millions of dollars) and looking out for his personal investments to care much about anything else.
How much of Trump's 'very good relationship' with Kim (Xi and Putin, too) is based on the Trump family getting 'promises' of future business deals in territories controlled by China (Belt and Road, etc.) and Russia (Eurasian Economic Union, etc.). After all, Trump cares little about the US; only about his bank accounts. (And paying off loans)

The U.S. and South Korea have been antagonizing North Korea with joint exercises for decades, particularly the naval exercises which are conducted very close to the border. And the result of that saber-rattling has been North Korea developing nukes and inter-continental ballistic missiles and a cabal of A-holes in the Military Industrial Establishment getting filthy rich.
Ending the exercises was one of the few things I could agree with Trump on. So not surprised he is back-pedaling.

So much winning!

see if DPRK had no nukes they'd have no bargaining power - I advise never give them up - look at other nations that did

Of course Trump will back down.
He goes weak at the knees and bends over for dictatorships like fatty, Russia and Saudi Arabia....

More proof that the US cannot be trusted.
Kim. do NOT give up your nuclear program as it is the only thing stopping the Pentagon from removing you from power. Never forget Iraq and Iran.

If Kim won’t denuclearize then he might see a restart in military exercises and more sanctions coming his way, his choice, we have the power, the money and the time, he doesn’t.
Well, That depends on whether he wants to stay in power or not. Money is everything, even for a murderous dictator like Kim
bass4funk
No, but they also know if we back SK and Japan and if NK becomes a problem, one thing our hardware works.
bass4funk
The Russians have always a lot of a problem with hardware breakdowns and the Chinese with their copied hardware has never been tested in a real war. By the way, when was the last time they had a full scale war for a prolonged time?
I doubt it.

So many people were criticizing Trump for cancelling the exercises in the first place as capitulating to Kim with nothing in return, now he says we will put them back on and you say he can't be trusted! Hilarious.

Or, Donny will continue to capitulate to and appease Kim given Donny's so ineffective on this issue.
So, maintaining the status quo, which you ripped previous presidents for when Donny kicked off his apology tour towards the DPRK.

Maybe, just maybe, the US has the biggest, the most powerful weapons, but it will only take one, just one to get through to NY or Washington; are the American people prepared to take this risk to support a mentally ill president? Imagine one 100 time the power of the one dropped on civilians in Hiroshima landing on US mainland.
