Rosenstein 2020.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

I do hope Trump fires Rosenstein on Thursday. It would serve to boost the Dems for November.

i want Trump to give into all of his childish impulses for the next two months.

Rosenstein is a witness in the case - there is no rationale for him to be overseeing an investigation in which he is a part of. He signed the FISA affidavit based on the Clinton campaign kompromat and wrote a letter recommending Comey’s firing. Now he is overseeing a prosecution involving the possibility of obstruction of justice involving the firing of Comey. If he had any integrity he would resign immediately.

I can’t possibly understand why he was not dismissed 5 minutes after he was outed for threatening to secretly ease drop on Trump and floated the 25th amendment to oust him in a banana republic coup.

Don’t wait until Thursday. Dump him now.

If trump wins the round of golf, he’s cool.

Maybe because it's not yet been determined whether he was being serious when he made those remarks.

Maybe.

He signed the FISA affidavit based on the Clinton campaign kompromat

Possibly, partially based on the kompromat that originated with republicans.

and wrote a letter recommending Comey’s firing.

Nope.

He is not overseeing a prosecution, he is overseeing an investigation.

I do hope Trump fires Rosenstein on Thursday. It would serve to boost the Dems for November.

I hope he does or at least pulls him in and makes him report to the President twice a day and keep a short leash on him, but this and what has been happening with Kavanaugh can also boost the GOP supporters as well this Nov..

i want Trump to give into all of his childish impulses for the next two months.

I just want Rosenstein to go and next Sessions and clean up and put someone that has the Presidents back.

The GOP can't get anything done despite controlling congress and the WH. Couple that with Trump and his supporters tearing at the institutions that underpin our democratic republic, and my bet is the GOP will have a poor showing.

If you truly care about the country, you won't vote republican in November.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

The GOP can't get anything done despite controlling congress and the WH. Couple that with Trump and his supporters tearing at the institutions that underpin our democratic republic, and my bet is the GOP will have a poor showing.

Maybe if the Democrats would be less obstructionists constantly they could get a lot more done. Whether it’s stepping over the constitution usurping the political process, the Democrats have been a constant impediment to the country.

If you truly care about the country, you won't vote republican in November.

If you want your taxes to go up, want regulation and want to return to a stagnant economy and have less money and more income redistribution imposed, erosion of your civil liberties and due process, vote Democrat.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

The democrats learned obstruction from the GOP.

The Dems have never wanted income redistribution or erosion of civil liberties and due process.

It wasn't the Dems who ran the economy into the ground during Bush II. In fact, the current bull market started under Obama as he brought the economy back from the abyss republicans and their deregulation created.

It wasn't the Dems who eroded civil liberties and due process under Bush II.

Why stick to the facts when hyperbolic falsehoods appeal to your fellow conservatives and make you feel good?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

The democrats being obstructionists doesn't matter given that republicans control Congresss or the WH. The lack of getting anything done is completely because the GOP and Trump are incompetent.

Remember when conservatives were about self responsibility? Now, it's all about blaming the democrats despite the democrats holding literally no power.

2 ( +3 / -1 )

The democrats learned obstruction from the GOP.

Sadly, no. The Dems have been obstructionists since Kennedy went and met with Gorbachev officials like Kerry to try and intervene with their talks, the left has had a very sinister history for going behind the GOPs back to undermine them, watched as a kid and as an adult, they still never learn.

The Dems have never wanted income redistribution or erosion of civil liberties and due process.

GREAT! So now Democrats are for small government and less taxation they turned over a new leaf, so when they accuse someone of a crime that person he or she will be given the benefit of a doubt, especially if it's a man, there will be no more rush to judgement! Love it!

Why stick to the facts when hyperbolic falsehoods appeal to your fellow conservatives and make you feel good?

No, just saying what the facts are and have been.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

The Dems learned obstruction from the GOP. Kennedy was president when he met Khrushchev. Kennedy was long dead by the time Gorbachev was relevant.

Why stick to facts when hyperbolic falsehoods appeal to your fellow conservatives and make you feel better?

The largest expansion of the federal government occurred under Bush II.

Democrats want an investigation before rushing to judge someone accused of something. Conservatives only want investigations of their political enemies and victim blame to protect their own. When their is an investigation of a conservative, their fellow conservatives go apoplectic and trot out third-rate conspiracy theories to disparage the investigators.

Claiming that hyperbolic falsehoods are facts is not a sound strategy for critical discourse. It is, along with obfuscation and deflection, a fallback of conservatives.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Now I see the confusion about Kennedy meeting Gorbachev:

Supporters of President Donald Trump have defended Donald Trump Jr. and his readiness to receive Russian materials on Hillary Clinton by finding examples when Democrats tried to do something similar. Fox News host Greg Gutfeld brought up the case of Sen. Ted Kennedy, D-Mass.

"Nothing will ever come close to Ted Kennedy meeting with the KGB in order to beat Ronald Reagan in 1984," Gutfeld said on his show July 15. "It was a quid pro quo. You help the Dems. We help the USSR. If it worked, we would still have the USSR."

https://www.politifact.com/punditfact/statements/2017/jul/18/greg-gutfeld/fox-news-host-cites-ted-kennedy-kgb-meeting-never-/

Instead of doing cursory research, someone simply took the word of Fox "News."

2 ( +2 / -0 )

The Dems learned obstruction from the GOP

If that were true then the Dems wouldn't be as good as they have been over 30 years.

The largest expansion of the federal government occurred under Bush II.

I never believed or said that Bush was a true fiscal conservative, but then again, he is good friends with the Clinton's so....

Democrats want an investigation before rushing to judge someone accused of something.

Unless it's one of their own and then it just means nothing.

Conservatives only want investigations of their political enemies and victim blame to protect their own. When their is an investigation of a conservative, their fellow conservatives go apoplectic and trot out third-rate conspiracy theories to disparage the investigators.

Same goes for the Dems.

Claiming that hyperbolic falsehoods

Not claiming anything, just stating the Democrats misguided facts. Gosh, I sure hope Trump at least puts a leash on the Dems lapdog at the very least on Thursday or removes that nut job and reassigns him to poppy seed research in Afghanistan.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

The democrats being good over the post 30 years indicates that they weren't obstructing, which supports my assertion that they learned it from the GOP.

Being friends with someone means you're of a certain political persuasion only to hyper-partisan people. Whatever that claim meant, it does nothing to refute that the federal government expanded under a republican. Oh, I forgot to mention that it contracted under Obama.

Why stick with sacks when hyperbolic falsehoods make you feel better?

Democrats want an investigation before rushing to judge someone accused of something. Conservatives only want investigations of their political enemies and victim blame to protect their own. When their is an investigation of a conservative, their fellow conservatives go apoplectic and trot out third-rate conspiracy theories to disparage the investigators. The veracity of this is demonstrated here:

Not claiming anything, just stating the Democrats misguided facts. Gosh, I sure hope Trump at least puts a leash on the Dems lapdog at the very least on Thursday or removes that nut job and reassigns him to poppy seed research in Afghanistan.

Somehow lifelong republicans like Rosenstein and Mueller suddenly become democrat lapdogs when they are investigating other republicans. It's magic, I tell ya. Dark, black magic.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

The democrats being good over the post 30 years indicates that they weren't obstructing,

Not only were they obstructing but With the help of the top echelon of the FBI it would seem they had their lapdogs in place, it wasn’t baking a cake, that’s for sure.

it does nothing to refute that the federal government expanded under a republican.

And doubled under the Democrat.

Democrats want an investigation before rushing to judge someone accused of something.

But contradict themselves when it comes to their own. Still waiting for the ethics probe in Keith Ellison to twake place.

When their is an investigation of a conservative, their fellow conservatives go apoplectic

And when you bring up one of their own, they give you 1001 excuses except to answer your basic question.

and trot out third-rate conspiracy theories to disparage the investigators. The veracity of this is demonstrated here:

Where The code word for liberals is always dodge in deflect and don’t answer question that can get you in trouble, typical.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Trot out a far-fetched conspiracy theory that has zero evidence about the upper echelons of the FBI being corrupt when you have no substantive answer. Typical conservative move.

It is a fact that the federal government shrank under Obama. But, it's easier to ignore facts when they destroy a falsehood that makes you feel good. Another typical conservative move.

Their is no evidence beyond Ellison's ex's assertions, just like with Ford. Funny how conservatives hold liberals to different standards than they hold themselves.

Conservatives are the masters of obfuscating and deflecting. A perfect example is here:

This:

I never believed or said that Bush was a true fiscal conservative, but then again, he is good friends with the Clinton's so....

in response to this, which was a response to someone claiming the Dems bring larger government:

The largest expansion of the federal government occurred under Bush II.

No response to being corrected about Kennedy meeting Gorbachev?

3 ( +3 / -0 )

Rosenstein, Mueller, et. al were undercover democrats all these years. Hahahaha! That's a good one.

How'd they get past the FBI background checks without getting caught?

No response to being corrected about Kennedy meeting Gorbachev?

Not important. How about Rosenstein? Do you think he should stay or go? My personal opinion, he should go for at the very least be reassigned.

Trot out a far-fetched conspiracy theory that has zero evidence about the upper echelons of the FBI being corrupt when you have no substantive answer. Typical conservative move.

Yes, tell that to Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Lisa Page Bruce and Nellie Ohr and Rosenstein. Lol

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/the-fix/wp/2017/02/11/why-democrats-cant-just-obstruct-their-way-back-into-power/?utm_term=.1186e7f230cf

Their is no evidence beyond Ellison's ex's assertions, just like with Ford.

Good then Kavanaugh should swing easily into confirmation.

in response to this, which was a response to someone claiming the Dems bring larger government:

They do, they have. California is a prime example of what not to do or run a government at the State and Federal level.

-4 ( +0 / -4 )

Not important. How about Rosenstein? Do you think he should stay or go? My personal opinion, he should go for at the very least be reassigned.

Not even going to acknowledge you were incorrect. Classy, very classy. Not very surprising given it's your M.O. Regarding your question, there is no reason Rosenstein should go.

Yes, tell that to Comey, McCabe, Strzok, Lisa Page Bruce and Nellie Ohr and Rosenstein. Lol

How about you read the IG report that cleared them of bias/corruption. You were banging on about how the IG report was going to show bias/corruption. Then, when it didn't, you did a typical screeching 180 and started moaning about how it was BS. See a pattern to how you operate? You claim X is going to be a bombshell that proves your conspiracy theories are correct. Then, when X disproves your conspiracy theory, you start weaving another conspiracy theory as to why X was bias/corrupt/inaccurate. Very intellectually honest of you.

Good then Kavanaugh should swing easily into confirmation.

You hope. No comment on the double standard that you have?

They do, they have. California is a prime example of what not to do or run a government at the State and Federal level.

We were discussing the federal government, which you claimed dems would increase the size of. When it was demonstrated that a republican was responsible for the largest expansion in history, you tried to obfuscate. When you have been told the fact that Obama shrank the federal government, you have buried your head in the sand and refused to accept the fact.

California is the world's fifth largest economy. It seems to me that that is an indication the state government is working quite well.

I have to give it to you, you are consistent in your inconsistencies, refusal to accept facts or admit when you are incorrect, and intellectual dishonesty. The hallmarks of a true conservative.

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I get a kick out of hearing Trump fans say Rosenstein is the leader of a witch hunt....but he shouldn't be fired heh.

3 ( +3 / -0 )

there is no reason Rosenstein should go.

Being insubordinate, making jokes about wiretapping the President....this is part of the corrupt top FBI Kabale, but the President will determine the fate of Rosenstein, so we shall see.

How about you read the IG report that cleared them of bias/corruption

No, it didn’t and yes, I read it, especially the incriminating Strozok and Page texts.

Horowitz’s IG report found rampant institutionalized corruption and bias at the FBI and DOJ, with far left operatives influencing policy throughout the upper the two government institutions.

Inspector General Horowitz referred five FBI employees for investigation as more damning anti-Trump text messages were released to the public via the report.

The five FBI employees operating to sabotage Trump’s presidency remain anonymous for the time being.

To the core.

You hope. No comment on the double standard that you have?

Not me, talk to Sen. Horono.

We were discussing the federal government, which you claimed dems would increase the size of.

No, have and did.

California is the world's fifth largest economy.

Also With the largest poverty, homelessness and mass exodus from the middle-class

https://thehill.com/policy/finance/406595-california-has-highest-poverty-rate-in-us-feds

It seems to me that that is an indication the state government is working quite well.

For the Silicone Valley IT freaks it is, for the average American, it’s not.

-3 ( +0 / -3 )

The Dems have been obstructionists since Kennedy went and met with Gorbachev

I love this - Gorbachev came to power in 1985. How on earth did you think that they were in power at the same time?

Not to be a stickler, but that's not a link to the IG report; it's a link to a right wing opinion piece that makes no sense. Why would the 5 FBI employees working to sabotage Trump remain anonymous?
