74.2 percent is a pretty good number considering the pandemic.

Maybe get rid of the idiotic, “only hiring in March-April” garbage, and employ people whenever necessary?

The ministry attributed the record figures to a government scheme to provide financial support to students from low-income households who want to continue their studies.

It is a scheme to provide and it is not yet being provided and when they do start one will need to fill a booklet and jump through a myriad of hoops to get the support.

my thoughts exactly. Are the old folks refusing to give up their chairs at their companies? Because surely the reason can't be automation.

I thought that I read an article on JT in the last year that there were 1.5 job offers for every college graduate. Now, I understand - some grads were getting 10 offers while many others were getting zero. The math averaged 1.5 offers but was far from full employment!
