Asia a bright spot for Japanese carmakers facing sluggish U.S. sales

Mazda has reaped worldwide profits,with some of its vehicles becoming record beating sellers so It’s about time Mazda began to share its fortune with the rest of the world and become a true international company.

I am not sure if you know this but Mazda has plants in the UK, China and Mexico. Mazda is an international company.

It's now wiser to buy Korean cars rather than the Japanese brands that are still using Takata airbags .

Even with Takata airbags a Japanese car is the better choice :)

No one wants a huge, steering wheel on the wrong side American car in Japan.

How about shifting the focus to promoting foreign car makers access to the Japanese market. 

German cars don't need promotion and popular among those who can afford one. Promoting American cars is useless :)

Some Japanese brands are dumping their cars with Takata airbags to Asia while those bound for the USA are equipped with airbags from another company.

How about shifting the focus to promoting foreign car makers access to the Japanese market. This have your cake and eat it insistence on openness everywhere but here (not only for cars but plenty else) is fast reaching its use by date.
