A case study of business complacency.

Agreed, BB. Most of my cars have been Honda. Let's hope they get their mojo back.

Car enthusiasts will talk positively about the Honda that were in F1 and made the NSX, the S2000, and all the other sporty ones, but maybe those cars did not quite have the halo effect people think they did. The Fit/Jazz has been a top seller to people who would have formerly bought a (non Type R) Civic, at least in Japan, so I don't see that car's demise as such a big issue. Toyota doesn't sell many Corollas any more either. Customers' needs and tastes change over time.
In terms of hybrids, the Toyota system is superior to Honda's IMA. I don't know if that is Honda corporate's fault though.

I've always like Honda cars. I also hope they're able to find and get their mojo back. Yeah, baby, yeah.

Although, I am a Datsun/Nissan guy at heart, I have two Honda cars in front of the house. Hope they do regain their mojo.

Honda's always had healthy balance sheet.
but chasing Toyota nearly cost Honda its identity (Soichiro Honda must be rolling in his grave)
New NSX and Type-R cars are back, and successor to the S-roadster is coming soon.
