Wow downvoted for mentioning my families adverse reaction to the vaccine. Must be some sick people trolling around these sites

if you think the vaccine is going to bring an end to all of this you are very much mistaken.

@SandyBeachHeaven

To clarify, countries that are not EU members, the UK or USA. Have all had problems getting Vaccine from those 3 places. So places like Japan, South Korea, even Canada are trying ( note trying) to come to agreemens to manufacture locally or build facilities to manufacture locally Vaccine but to do that these companies need to let others make it, up to now the only one is AZ.

Because these companies cannot supply even bin the USA. The USA government has put the defense production act in play forcing the vaccine makers to let rivals produce the vaccine.

The list of countries are countries that the EU at one point or another has blocked their shipments of Vaccine, now again Australia's Vaccine orders have been stopped by Italy under the EU agreement.

So any country expecting to get Vaccine from the EU in time or at all in some cases is dreaming.

They need to do like Japan, South Korea, and start figuring out how to produce at least AZ vaccine locally.

@Ant-: Your post is confusing. Please clarify. You are usually straight on. Thanks

Japan has no choice like many others, we are going to see many countries increase or create production facilities as we have now learned we cannot depend on it supposed Friends like the USA, EU and UK. Who have all at some point or permanently blocked exports.

Again the EU has blocked exports this time Australia is the target.

Here is a partial list of countries blocked by the EU and note that the information that the countries that have been blocked are mostly developed countries and not most I'm need, this list shows that to not be True.

Argentina, Australia, Bahrain, Canada, Chile, China, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Hong Kong, Japan, Kuwait, Macau, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Oman, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Qatar, Republic of Korea, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, South Africa, the United Arab Emirates, and more.
