Having an account surplus while being in debt? Well, when you have a protected economy and you only owe money to yourself, I would say that is a good spot to be in, we will see if the US continues to be taken advantage of

Not sure what the Trump admin could ask of the current account surplus. Japanese entities own overseas assets which pay income, much of it not from the US. So what if Japanese asset owners make some money on their investments?

Trump is surely not stupid enough to make a problem out of that, even if he does think having an abundance of foreign imports available to American consumers is a tragedy.

US is taking advantage of Japan, SK, Canada, Aussie, and US 99%.

There is a multitude of products that Japan does not import from the US..

Anyone, that has shopped in a US supermarket knows that the product choice is phenomenal-something is wrong somewhere....
