Biggest joke of the year!

Nice corporate apologia but maybe just state greedy execs hoard profits and the almighty shareholder is at the head of the table and workers have come last for 30 years.

Govt. economic takeover policy, first price increases, then wage increases to help offset at least partially. Just a money game, no wealth creation or productivity gains.
The DEALER = Government = ONLY Winner
Govt. collects more Tax Revenues and monetizes debt via Inflation THEY Create with THEIR Money Printing.
Meanwhile land prices keep dropping with depopulation and aging. Who prioritizes land, given cost of daily life is going UP. No surprise mansion prices in a bubble!
ANY Other Countries have high inflation and collapsing land prices? NOT Good folks, Stage 4 economic cancer. Govt. will always say land prices are increasing, but they never adjust for inflation, so real prices always dropping.

Act like they something for the dues they collect. In the end nothing changes. Zero power for 20 years of stagnant salaries and lack of any real benefit to work harder and more efficient . It’s all image and waste of money. Only the negotiation is earning anyone money and that’s the union.

Didn't even know they had active unions here - emphasis on the word active.

Does anyone remember many years ago when Prime Minister Abe pitched making the highways in Japan FREE for all motorists. It was a huge part of his campaign! He actually allowed it to happen, FOR ABOUT A MONTH. Then he said it want sustainable and the promise quietly disappeared! Then, the prices came back. Japan is just full of empty promises from the politicians to business leaders. The unions and business leaders will cry and moan later and it will go back to business as usual.

Japan Inc is happy with high share prices and low wages.
Why would it change?

This would have to be one of the least vigorous wage discussions in the world, with one the weakest set of Unions in the world.
They are petting puppies.
