Thank to labor shortage now Japanese companies need to find a way to make employee happy. If not just change job.

Changing your role gives you the power back. Good on you who have changed jobs for the benefit of you and not some old dried out Manager who said it's irresponsible.

Pretty much the only way to get a reasonable pay increase these days is by changing jobs. Preferably to one that doesn’t base new employee salary on what someone made in the last job.

I not only changed jobs,I changed countries.

Best move I could have done.

I got something earlier this year that turned out to be crap.

Decided to take the rest of the year OFF.

I hope to be part of that happy 50% soon!
