So the Saudi king's trip to Japan in March was fruitful. Those 1,200 hotel rooms, 100 limousines, 459 tons of luggage and 2 golden escalators to help him get on and off the plane have certainly paid for themselves. Let's see if they carry out their plans for establishing a Japan R&D centre, and even an auto assembly plant, as reported in other media.

So why does Japan pay a premium compared to other countries? No wonder gas prices are so high over here!

Was thinking of the same thing. Would think that the best buyer would get the best price. Perhaps Japanese auto makers pitch in to offset cost? Just as in US, oil and auto go hand in hand??
