Mainland Americans complain about a supposed "inflation" they had during the last four years. But they don't know what inflation is, yet.

And most definitely not the way we've had it in Japan, where some goods are twice the price of what they are in US. And if prices go up in 'murica, we'll see even more inflation Japan.

Japan, South Korea, China, and other countries have tariffs on steel. Am I the only one who thinks that many US trading partners who are complaining now are hypocrits?

many small and medium size businesses using aluminum and steel to fabricate products other than cars will be forced to raise prices.

Maybe in the short term there will be a few price rises in the US economy, but I think that it will soon stabilise as US production of steel and aluminium increases.

This ain't gonna bring back jobs to the US, only making unemployment and misery great again. The rest of the world can survive without the US. Boycott made in America products and services now.

@Alan Harrison Even if steel and aluminum manufacturing quickly, miraculously revives prices will remain high due to the protection of the tariff wall (as well as high USA labor rates, etc).

Trump doesn't know what his right or left hand are doing. He is taking a country that was great and digging a hole so deep that when his term ends it is going to take decades for the democrats to dig another hole back.
