Walmart Japan's new CEO: Seiyu 'absolutely' not for sale

Please dont sell Seiyu, steaks and meats are good prices and large sizes! not small portions like the other chains, the monpolies here will only jack up the prices.

I mean obviously they wouldn't come out and say it even if it were true, it would kill their sales and credit card business. I do hope that the business can survive though, Seiyu does have a nice selection of imported sweets and beer at reasonable prices, although I don't find their standard groceries any cheaper than the competition despite their marketing saying so.
