But they're not giving back bag check fees, headset fees, blanket fees, etc. Because we have all become used to those charges. The next time oil gets expensive and the airlines are hurting, what other things will they find to charge us for that we get at no charge now? Will we have to pay extra to have a seat to sit in?

Lower fuel prices mean that the Gulf carriers like Etihad, Emirates and Qatar, which are owned by the nation's ruling families, have less advantage, temporarily at least.
