Amazon is a publicly traded stock. Mr Bezos can't be held personally liable for the companies actions.
I agree. If things are as extreme as some claim you would expect to see a huge turnover of employees. But you don't see that. In fact you see hundreds of people applying for any opening that occurs.
So a bias satirical comedian is now a source for facts?

Sounds like it was a total dud! All it takes is some rain to break off the strikers? Great message to send to Amazon! The workers who fought for unions and our rights back in history would be shaking their heads at how weak people are now, back in those days if they were sprayed with industrial hoses then they'd consider that to be rather mild! If you want to fight for your rights, you have to go all in! With such a pathetic "strike" I doubt Amazon would even have known it happened if not for the media attention.

If the Amazon workers don’t even get time for a toilet break then I’d be walking out too!

Amazon should either reduce the demands upon their Human workforce (8 seconds between each placement for 10 hours a day solid ?!?), with Robots or employ more people. I would not be surprised that soon they will be facing a Lawsuit over RSI problems, and related Labour practices - particularly if a Death is involved. And for the Family involved in a Death situation, I would hope, that Mr Bezos can kiss his fortune good bye ... or a significant portion of it.

If you really believe that, then leave and get a job somewhere else. With unemployment being so low it should be easy to find your dream job.
If there had been a significant number of protesters the organizers would have trumpeted the numbers. They were so dedicated that they stop because of rain.
So companies owned by people who are just scraping by are allowed to treat their workers badly?
Why didn't you cancel it immediately?

If you don't want to work at Amazon for the benefits and salary offered under the conditions provided, get another job.
I worked in a warehouse for minimum wage while going to University. We had specific start times, a mid-morning 15 min break, 30 for lunch, and a mid-afternoon 15 min break. We had quotas for the number of parts packed to be shipped. Meeting the quota required hustle and brains to plan the order parts were retrieved intelligently. It was a dusty, dirty, job, but at least it was indoors. In the winter, it was below freezing outside. In the summer it was VERY hot inside. I've never met anyone who enjoyed putting parts into boxes and boxes onto trucks.
There's a reason they call it "work."

So, one of their reasons was Amazon's lack of "concrete action on issues including climate change"??? What's that got to do with their jobs?

These people knew exactly what to expect even before they are hired. Working conditions, salary, etc. is explained in great detail by HR to potentially avoid personnel problems and/or lawsuits. Then they get the job and in a blink of the eye they start complaining. They have been listening too much of AOC's drivel thinking the world owns them a living.

Meaning: "We want more money."
Sorry, no. Amazon created jobs for you guys. If Amazon needed you more than it does, it would pay you more. For reference, please watch: youtube.com/watch?v=kdA2-CAJWjo

And Bezos will respond by replacing the humans with robots. Duh.

I mistakenly registered for Amazon Prime and will soon cancel it.

Reckless: If you don't know about the working conditions in Amazon centers, you haven't been reading. They sound absolutely insane.
Unfortunately, this will probably do nothing. These people will be canned, and Amazon will just hire replacements. Now, if all people walked out nation or world-wide, that might have an impact.

"We create a lot of wealth for Amazon, but they aren't treating us with the respect and dignity that we deserve."
My dear, It's almost same every where, none of them you could satisfy.
