ANA is inviting passengers to submit designs for the outside of an aircraft body as part of its 60th anniversary celebrations.
In December 1952, ANA was founded with a fleet of two helicopters and has since grown into one of the world’s leading airlines, flying a total of over 45 million passengers every year.
To mark the anniversary, ANA is holding the design contest. The winning design will be painted on a Boeing 767-300 and will fly across Japan's skies.
Competition details are as follows:
Application Period: Sept 1-30 (Postal entries must arrive by Sept 30) Eligibility: No restrictions. Professional artists may also apply.
Categories: 1) Aged 12 and under (2) Aged 13 to 18 (3) Aged 19 and over

The ANA Campaign Office will select the winning entry in each category and the winners will be announced on Oct 9. ANA passengers and ANA group employees will vote for an overall winner from among the category winners. The overall winner will be announced on Dec 1.© Japan Today
