All Nippon Airways (ANA) said Monday that from March 31, 2013, it will suspend its service between Tokyo’s Narita airport and Seoul (Incheon). The decision to suspend the service reflects the marked decline in demand on the route, particularly amongst business passengers who prefer to use the Haneda to Seoul (Gimpo) service.
ANA said it will continue to monitor the level of demand closely and will announce any further changes in due course.

I can fly to Seoul for 6000 yen using AIr Asia, why pay 4X more to use ANA? The true is decline in demand on the route because of their high price!

Given that ANA is the most expensive airline to fly on is route is it any wonder their numbers have been declining. ANA is an over rated, poor airline at the best of times. Just makes it worse that they also charge more than their competitors. Would rather fly Korean any day.

ANA are an excellent airline and are righly concentrating on the business side of things. Why should they be concerned with loss-leading economy passengers? Sensible business when you have full loads out of Haneda.

Incheon is too far from Seoul - similar to Narita's distance from central Tokyo. Also, ANA is consistently a top 10 airlines in the world (5th this year). I fly with them internationally to the US, Europe and Asia and will continue to do so.

@tapetptape: Agreed - First choice for me now apart from SQ.
