I hear the annual trend is for up until mid-April. It seems to track US individual tax day, so the trend is up until a few days after April 15th every year.

No guarantee this year will follow the historical trend.

https://finance.zacks.com/seasonal-stock-market-trends-5830.html There are always exceptions, but ... I look for a low in Sept/Oct to buy and sell some of my positions in the 2nd half of April every year. I'm never fully out, since individual stocks have their own plans, but if investing in SP500 index ETFs like Warren Buffet suggests, simply rebalancing your investments in late April (not too late!) will help take profits from the "January effect" up swing.
