coronavirus vaccine maker AstraZeneca agreed to increase supplies to Europe

On Sunday, the EU announced AstraZeneca has agreed to supply 9 million additional doses of its coronavirus vaccine to Europe.

EU population is about 500 million. Double vaccine 1 billion does. 9 million is a drop in the ocean. 60%, 600 million.

Japan needs 200 million for a double vaccination. At least 300,000 vaccinations per day.

How will the poor countries get their vaccines? Belgium are donating one dose for everyone it buys.
