considering the US Feds QE took around 4 yrs and $4trillion+ before any noticeable results were seen. Japan QE has a ways to go yet.

There's a quadrillion yen of public debt for the BOJ to buy. The BOJ owns hundreds of trillions of it already (I think now being the biggest holder), and is buying at a pace of 80 trillion yen a year.
It seems like they might own all of the debt by the time the Olympics rolls around in 2020, even.
Some are looking for an expansion later in October, but how would increasing the pace at which they buy up the remaining debt help to boost economic growth, anymore than it already has (if indeed it has helped growth at all)?
Somewhere along the road, people went insane and came to think that central bank policy is all that matters. But how is the BOJ buying more debt, even faster, supposed to help boost Japan's growth potential?
The government needs to start doing its job.

These guys seem to just throw a bunch of money out and pray things work out... and they never do. Kuroda has been swearing on the 2% inflation for going on three years now, and continues to say, "It's going to stay at zero percent for now because of (insert excuse of the day), but we maintain it will change!" Meanwhile, they ACTUALLY have the gall to act surprised the debt is more than twice the GDP (and growing exponentially!).

The US still hasn't seen any noticeable results of it's QE program, other than a stock bubble. And despite $4 trillion being borrowed and printed, America's debt/gdp ratio is half of Japan's. Lastly, America is self sufficient in nearly all ways, and has a growing population. America is in far better shape to repay it's debts that Japan is.

Doesn't the idiom "hold fire" means to stop? Like, "Hold your fire" means to stop shooting.

Japan does not have as many buyers as it used to for its food export. South Korea, China etc. do not want to risk receiving contaminated food. The US is more than willing to buy but I doubt if it can buy it all. Since China is also refusing US food exports from the west coast.
