It seems that Takata has airbags in many different makes-I had mine seen to 2 years ago.

If you take your car to a dealer they will tell you if there are any recalls on parts. The dealer should then repair them at no cost. Likewise, it is illegal to sell a used vehicle here if it contains parts that should be replaced under a recall notice.
