For Boeing it makes a lot more sense to get these planes flying (safe or not), and pay eventual damages to the victims in case of a crash,rather than spend time into designing an improved battery pack, with the planes on the ground. Or fly them at higher risk until that design is finished.
Nobody at Boeing can convince me that they found the problem and a reasonable fix in such a short time.
If it's not Airbus, I'm not going.
