Could there be other reasons for this move besides creating jobs, I wonder?

High value of the yen for one. It is probably cheaper to source parts in Georgia than in Japan.
Whether there is some political angle, who can say?

Also good to see that, instead of going back to Illinois (cesspool of union thuggary and corruption) to Georgia. Hopefully, they can keep the unions out.

I'm sure there's some corporate rebates or kick backs going on as well. Or big tax breaks minimum.

Another one gone and another one gone. High Yen is the easiest excuse at the moment to pull the cord and jump. I'm surprised they didn't use the Tsunami-excuse like all the other companies that were waiting for their out. Who's next?
