Coca-Cola announced in Tokyo this week that to celebrate the 100th anniversary of its iconic bottle, it has launched a new campaign “Heritage,” and will also sell a new product, Coca Cola Life, from March 9.

“Heritage,” which began on Jan 26, celebrates the bottle with a "Coke & Me” campaign where you can be part of the company's advertisements. Free Cokes are offered in the Metro Promenade in Shinjuku, Tokyo, and photos of commuters posing with a Coke bottle will be displayed on the wall as part of the campaign which ends on Feb 1.

“We would like to recruit more people who can share the fantastic moment with our product,” said Coca-Cola Japan Marketing Director Adriano Torres.

“Coca-Cola Life” is made with a mix of sugar and natural sweetener - Stevia leaf extract - containing 19 calories per 100ml.

“Due to its unique attributes, Coca-Cola Life will become an addition to the Coca-Cola family," Torres said.

The drink was launched in the U.S. and UK last year.
