Interesting. Cola Shochu...did I read that correctly?

I have mixed shochu with many other flavors and drinks before. It is not too good with cola, but then again, the article does not specify the flavor they will produce.
Try Coca Cola with Eggnog and Shochu. Put it in a blender with lots of ice. That would be lovely in a can.

Coca Cola Nobel prize for population control since 1893. Canned debilitating amounts of drinkable sugar; why not put a shot of malt liquor in there for good measure. Rock on.

Those chu-hi drinks are not really low alcohol, they can be much stronger than beer. These drinks are called alcopops in some countries as it appears they are aimed at children. It won't be good PR for Coke when the local school kids are smashed out of their brains on their products.

I do so love Chu-hi. I find it hard to believe that it isn’t popular in the West. Coke is missing out on a fantastic business opportunity by not selling it in North America and Europe.

Shouldn't it be "chu-hai"?

Yes, an interesting concoction. "Shochu Cola" has a better ring. Can't wait to see them at the Japanese markets here in the U.S.
