Europe's economy needs help. Political chaos in France and Germany means it may be slower in coming

Unpopular leaders and moribund economies, what a disgrace.

This with inflation rates in the 2.4% vicinity.

EU with all moral superiority just keep begging money from everywhere that includes from NATO that being funded by generous donor across Atlantic.

The European Union has been trashed by the U.S. interests.

As our politicians are merely puppets of Washington they do whatever it is told us to do.

So our economy is failing as we must spend billions of euros for the US weapons to supply their support on wars and the imposition for us to buy gas that is way more expensive than from Russia.

Brussel is controlled by America and our politicians back in the old continent are spineless,we should have been friend with the US not slaves as what we are.

Europe need a profound political reform and find the courage to say no to all the US requests.

Nonsense. France and Germany only rival the US, China and Russia as the world's biggest arms producers and exporters. And then countries with tiny populations like Sweden produce fighter jets and some of the most sophisticated weapons in the world.

No more cheap Russian oil and gas. You asked for it.

If the EU had made a bit more of an effort, their milking stool would still have three solid legs rather than two broken ones.

Current regimes in Europe are too detached from their citizens, too corrupt, too incompetent and have forgotten the basic art of politics.

They will need to up their NATO payments, and should not attempt tit-for-tat tariffs, as it will increase prices in Europe without pressurising Trump. Unfortunately, they may try to dodge their NATO dues, and are likely to start a trade war with the US (on top of the one they have started with China, the only country who can enable their green transition, and the one they have started with their beleaguered citizens by hiking interest rates and energy costs). And all with the Neo-Nazis waiting patiently in the wings to take over the whole shebang.

Only after Ukraine is invaded has the NATO countries, that did NOT spend the agreed amount of 2% of GDP, are now scrambling to get spending up to 2% or more to make up for the lack of spending.

Now those countries can say to Trumff , we are now paying the 2%.

2) Finding the money to pay for the equipment etc sent to Ukraine.

Now the French government is not capable to do anything until the next election due to the main party being so week and lacking support from other parties to form a collation goverment.

Also Germany government is not much better.

Several of the eu countries are not following the rest by reducing their reliance on russian oil and gas.

And other things are happening that makes the eu family more of a dysfunctional family.

Europe's in a inflationary and political spiral, the voters are tired of high cost of living/inflation and rising taxes, while the dangerous forever war continues in nearby Ukraine. Thus, political re-alignment happening fast.

Europeans get it, wars = inflation and rising taxes and naturally growing possibility of nuclear war as Ukraine collapses on battlefield and Biden Admin and NATO becomes desperate = direct confrontation with Russia.

Reasons of such European mess :

leftist’s political view implementation : no nuclear, no oil and gas, mass immigration, farmers are polluters, etc.

excessive bureaucracy in size and quality : norms abouy length of bananas or suicidal goal in time like ban of fossil fuel cars by 2035, so stringent norms about everything and sleazy process for everyone

unelected politicians’s leadership : one fits all policy clearly non democratic and against EU voters’s wish (currently Von Der Lyen)

Woke spirit : glorification of change to backward culture or religion, loss of self esteem, loss of family values.

Remove that and Europe would shine.

It won’t happen, except if Germany or France leave EU.

They don't need help anymore, it's already much too late there. But a beautiful coffin for remembrance in history would be nice, if not demanded too much.
