The hikes come as drugmakers are reeling from effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, which has reduced doctor visits and demand for some drugs. They are also fighting new drug price cutting rules from the Trump administration, which would reduce the industry's profitability.

It is not like the medical industry ever valued profits over lives before, like with the high prices on insulin.

This is already a possible winner for the entire 2021 for the price of the most disgusting moneygrabbing attempt at the expense of the worlds citizens. Beyond words

"They are also fighting new drug price cutting rules from the Trump administration, which would reduce the industry's profitability" out of all the daft thing DT has done during his rein in the white house, this is a good move, lets face it drug companies are robbing us blind on the price of drugs, it about time the monopoly/cartel was broken.
