it's a good thing to see French take such a globalization-friendly perspective. LOL. If Trump or Brexit UK came even a bit close to realzing the kind of national industrial policies long implemented by France, China, Japan and most others, they would be immediately branded as narrow-minded protectionsts: by the French, Chinese and Japanese.

With 'most others' you try to advocate that the UK and the US of A are the last frontiers of free trade. Seems you've missed the news since januari 2017 :)
