He's a reasonable man, and capable of handling his responsibility to his company, its shareholders and society in general, but will the radical environmentalists listen?

Listen to what? An oil exec? Which future do you think he cares about, the environment or his company's bottom line?

Of course he's going to say that! His company has a history of supporting South Africa's apartheid regime and Nigeria's exploitation and persecution of the ethnic Ogana people - for OIL. All this jerk cares about is MONEY.
