smithinjapan: Why does Japan deny the letter when Britain confirms it?

Same old song and dance while in the backroom the CEOs profit.

making up facts again.

"A Toyota spokesman declined to comment on whether it had received such a letter."

This is not a denial, its a no comment, there's a difference and at this stage its probably confidential for obvious reasons, so its not yours or anyone else's business to see such things.

This is Reuters and a freedom of information request, there is a long way to go before businesses make changes of a nature that reflect on UK's status within the EU.

I don't think Brexit will affect car exporting EU from Britain because Germany also want to export its cars to Britain. German Chancellor Angela Merkel was in-charge of EU Brexit. German Government will never put its car manufacturers under the wheels.

And when Toyota is in big trouble because of this in a year or two and facing angry investors, the people here will defend Toyota saying it was all a British conspiracy, not their fault, etc. etc. Same old song and dance while in the backroom the CEOs profit.
