It's been nice without the tourists but I want to go and visit my parents overseas without having to spend 3 weeks in quarantine hotels either end of the trip. I don't think there'll be that many people travelling this year with all the panic ongoing but hopefully everyone will have their marbles back by 2022

2021 will be good for travel inside of Japan.any kind of travel abroad will be nothing pleasant thanks to restrictions,testing,covid passes,quarantines,face masks etc etc etc...sure better be safe than sorry.

i will wait until situation will normalize to some certain level.

If train travel is possible to your destination then no flying, that's an idea that came out of France and the UK are discussing it, Japan should be discussing it too instead of promoting flights
