Can also be turning into a lucky outcome for them, when that whole senseless technology attempt has finally to be kicked into the garbage can one day sooner or later.

Your comment overlooks the decade or so when Tesla was operating at a loss. It is only very recently that Tesla started to turn a profit, but Tesla may or may not be profitable today. They are losing billions per year on their plant in Texas and Mr. Musk has stated they may have to declare bankruptcy if they can't start to make money there.

What seems like a long time ago, The Big Three were publicly criticizing Mr. Musk, saying that he had no idea how difficult it was to make cars. With hindsight, it now looks like Mr. Musk has done a better job of making EVs than any of The Big Three. He who laughs last, and all that.

Bicycles, public transport and walking are the best I’d not in rural areas for the environment and health. Fat people cause more damage to the world than carbon emissions by their consumption amd over reliance of the health systems due to their health issues .

Tesla makes their battery packs so no repairs are possible.

Tesla makes 'structural- battery packs. For any part of a car, any car, structural damage is a writeoff, so repairability by third party is a moot point. Tesla on the other hand can software repair degraded packs, though they are being sued to allow access to said software by third party at the moment.

Repairability is also minor compared to recyclability. ONLY Tesla uses cylindral cells (atm), so only Tesla has considered full circle production. Everyone else's, especially the Chinese LFP wet pouches are an environmental disaster in the making (of gynormous proportion). BTW, Redwood recycling founder JBS is a Tesla co-founder. He should know what's optimal.

...and CRRC has a factory in tge US making locomotive for US rail co., it still does not make CRRC or BYD trustworthy. The issue is, every Chinese company is bound by law to carry out CCP agendas when ordered to.

Transcontinental railroads would not have been built in the US if the US government had not given railroads 20 square miles of free government land for every mile of transcontinental railroad built. When the land subsidy was only 10 square miles of land for mile of rail, there were very few takers. The Federal Government had to double the subsidy to 20 square miles per mile of rail to get companies interested in building railroads. Most of these companies made more money developing and selling their land than they ever made running a railroad and for many, when the last of their land holdings were sold they discovered their railroads were running at a loss and went bankrupt or were bought by competitors.

This is not true across the board. Tesla makes their battery packs so no repairs are possible. BMW, Renault and Nissan have similar problems. Ford and GM go the other way making their battery packs repairable. Insurance premiums will tend to drive auto makers to make their battery packs repairable or they will be selling cars that cannot be insured or the insurance for which is prohibitively expensive. Elon Musk has hinted at this being a problem for Tesla in couched public statements.

BYD has a factory in Lancaster CA building electric trucks, tractors for tractor-trailer rigs, yard goats and transit buses. Several transit agencies in the region use BYD buses.

BYD are making $3billion a year.

BYD's results include, in fact is mostly from, ICE cars. On top of this, EVs cars are heavily subsidised by the CCP, expects sanctions, tariffs or both soon.

You can't compare apples / apples of BYD to Ford. For one, Ford doesn't have western money chasing profits (ie investors in BYD) in China because of extremely poor labour and environmental standards, not to mention IP thefts, and trade weaponization of resources.
