What is this bail out you are talking about? And how is a company incorporated in the US with US based corporate leadership somehow Chinese controlled? You need to back these claims up instead of just glibly tossing them off as somehow factual while the evidence is contrary to your claim

Want an example of this administration's lack of morals? This is it. Bailing out this unionised but extremely poorly managed company, who is essentially Chinese controlled.

Btw, the US might not have prevailed in WWII if the auto companies hadn't turned their plants to manufacturing airplanes in staggering quantities. Their executives organized a very large part of the war production effort across multiple industries. If the US is ever confronted with another such war it is essential to have such a base of factories to draw from.

Who buys their ... cars?

In the US their pick-up truck typically battle it out with the Ford F-150 and Dodge Ram 1500 for sales leadership. For 2021 the Silverado came in at number 3 (with the F-150 at no 1 and Dodge Ram 1500 in no 2, meaning the three trucks outsold all other cars or SUVs). They are big volume movers (519K units sold) that make a lot of money. No other manufacturers pick ups, Toyota, Nissan or Honda, made into the top ten. Add another 249K GMC pick ups (no 15 in sales).

In China, Buick is the number one selling brand, but you find the streets flooded with Cadillac's including some only sold in China and Chevrolet's including some Chevy branded Daewoo models made in China. GM sells more cars in China than in the US.

GM stock price = $39.70 per share

GM Dividend = $0.09 per share

Umm, anyone else see a problem here? That's 0.22% of the stock price. Dividend should be at least 10% of stock price ($3.90 per share).

Is this company still around? Who buys their ... cars?

Government Motors' cash flow barely covers debt, earnings has decreased, yet, they're declaring dividend, and BEFORE their earnings announcement date (October 22).
