There's a pertinent question for Japan, which has been usurped by Shanghai, is it Frankfurt or Tokyo motor show?

There is no win with centrally controlled Communist China, there is only how low would you or your country stoop to please the CCP.

China has been the golden goose upon which the global automotive industry has staked its future.

That's an insane assumption. China's target is to have no foreign cars in the future, rather it wants to make its own cars for its own people, in addition to exports. Aka, the Japanese model.
