Honda recalling 500,000 vehicles in U.S., Canada to fix seat belt problem

My 2001 vehicle had this problem around 2017. Called local dealership, set an appointment, took an hour and I was on my way. Fixed within a week of the problem. It was clearly an issue - the latch that had been working for 15+ yrs wouldn't latch and there was a red lamp on the dash showing the seat belt wasn't working.

Getting an oil change at the dealer is more hassle than this fix.
