didn’t have to think long in rejecting the offer because it didn’t see any benefits.

Potential of getting infected with the poisonous effects of having to take on UAW workers with the assets.

Good Move.

They rememeber the trouble they had with selling Jeeps in the nineties. Im sure Honda mamagement have long memories.

Why would Honda want their taint? I heard that Honda is out selling everybody in N.A. If true, then they obviously found the right formula to emerge much stronger.

Smart move, I think Fiat will get burned with Chrysler and Magna will as well with GM Europe. The only smart buy is Saab if the price and guaranties for future platform use are right.

Finally, a business that's making rational decisions. GM and Chrysler need to start asking "Will this make or lose money?" and if the answer is lose, they need to stop doing it.

Recent testimony on BAC's merger with Merrill show how multi-billion dollar corporations no longer care about rational decisions. It's whatever Paulson tells you.
