The problem is HK, like Japan, is not allowing non-residents back. But unlike Japan, there is no domestic air service because HK is so small. Cathay was already in hot water a few years back when they gambled away a lot of money on the financial markets.

The problem is HK, like Japan, is not allowing non-residents back. But unlike Japan, there is no domestic air service because HK is so small.

Earlier this month authorities lifted some of those restrictions meaning visitors without work visas or residency would now be able to travel to the city. But they will still have to undergo between 7-21 days of hotel quarantine depending on where they have come from.

Thank you, I didn't know that. Once again, HK, despite its current political situation, is still more flexible than Japan, allowing certain non-residents to go providing they quarantine.

But it is strange that HK classifies USA as medium risk whereas Ireland and UK are high risk. In other words Americans can go to HK? How nice.
