3 weeks mandatory quarantine? Who in their right mind would even want to visit then? Most tourist only have like 2 weeks of vacation time.

Cathay Pacific is in real trouble now. Nobody want to go to Hongkong China anymore.

After those pilots quit and go to other airlines one has to wonder if they would face any repercussions if they flew into a Chinese airport while working for another airline? Were I one of them I would probably be very careful never to enter China again for any reason. One can never know what kind of bizarre charges the CCP could drum up to arrest you with. Article 293 "Picking quarrels and provoking trouble" seems to be a favorite reason to arrest those who displease the CCP somehow.

I can only speak for myself, but my worst flying experience ever was with Cathay. So if they go down no worries on my part.

But that is just me.
