Must be Japanese. I suppose you thought it's another american family restaurant.

Great news!!! Visual torture, but we love it!!!

People who go to Hooters for the food are the same folks that buy Playboy for the articles.

Food rubbish but lives up to the name (kind of). Was always going to be popular here. Poor Sankei building though - used to be a prestigious address!!!!!

Man, Hooters is a go-to destination for some of us in Canada and Japan. The Japanese place is much nicer, though. We go for the good wings and tvs in Canada, but the waitresses are just full of themselves and bad at what they do. Here, the waitresses are cute and bubbly, atop keeping some good, unhealthy wings.

Wings might be unhealthy, but they sure have some tasty looking breasts.

Eat at home if you have to, the beer at Hooters tastes the same as anywhere else.

Fine, I accept that men would enjoy a beer, a hamburger and most important- some eye candy. Fine, they (most of them) work hard and are overstressed, so they need to blow up some steam at a place like this. I would also accept the fact that women are not welcomed there, or at least they wouldn't feel comfortable at a place like that. I just wonder if there is the an equivalent of Hooters for women, with handsome beefcakes for waiters?

Besides, I suspect that Hooters will lose very soon their appeal to your average kyabakura. Japanese prefer the girl to sit beside them and listen to them, talk with them, not to jump from table to table in her gym clothes.

I've only been to Hooters in Tokyo twice and both times it was a fun atmosphere, and both times, there were more women customers than men. After awhile, you tend not to notice the women. And contrary to what some people think, most men do not go to Hooters to leer at the waitresses. I have never seen anyone doing that.

"I would also accept the fact that women are not welcomed there, or at least they wouldn't feel comfortable at a place like that."

@Sasoriza: You'll find groups of single women, couples and even parents with children at Hooters (and they are welcomed)

kinda sad that dont have the raw oyster on the menu like they do in the states, one of my fave dishes there. The fried pickle is awesome!.

"Visual torture"

Torture?

even parents with children at Hooters (and they are welcomed)

Shudder.

It's amazes me that in this day and age of "political correctness", this American business is still around, alive and well....

Good clean family fun? It is pretty lame but still think it is trying to trade on the "hooters" of its staff.

Torture?

Lol! Yeah look but don't touch!

2 ( +3 / -1 )

Hooters must be doing something right if they've opened 4 places in Japan now.

"look but don't touch"

That's torture? Heck, then we men are tortured just about everywhere in Japan, lol

Torture, visual torture, is just part of the game! We all want it but we all want to pretend we are not looking at the hooters, but this is just stupid. If a lady has a great pair of hooters, is running up and down the escalators through Shibuya etc..I just try not to trip over myself or walk into a train, and let the eye candy, hooters, be what they are, lovely, bouncing and help my day be just a little brighter!! Yes do love a nice pair of big hooters and I guess if the wings are not too tasty after a few beers I will forget about the bad taste??

Why go to Hooters when you have the internet? The food is garbage too.

-3 ( +1 / -4 )

Hooter's is a hoot. Great place.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

Been a few times: food's ok if you make your choices wisely, girls are nice, a fun place. Who doesn't need more places for some harmless fun in Tokyo ?

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

"Why go to Hooters when you have the internet?"

This is a truly pathetic question. Here's another one: Why talk to anyone face-to-face when you have the internet?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Hooters actually has decent food relative to other corporate chain restaurants.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Hooters is a joke in Japan. I went to the one in Akasaka, and I was greated by a MAN at the door, and my waitress was pregnant. Food was overpriced and lousy. Nothing to see ...just another famili resu...imo
