With all the new wealth in India, price shouldn't be a stumbling block to sales, and with all the dangers of driving on India's roads, safety would be a good reason to buy a well-built car. Good luck to Toyota, whose cars I've relied on for years.

I concur, majority of the sedans and vans operating on Kenyan roads are Toyota make imported from Japan. In terms of quality and affordability, surely toyota has no match. Toyota brands of the 1970s are still on our roads and growing stronger due to affordable spare parts. Keep up Toyota, I wonder where third world countries would be in terms of automobile without you. Well done, we are totally behind you.
