The ONLY way to mitigate the coming problems is to make the worldwide changes needed.
Insurance companies were discussing this problem years ago. They are all extremely concerned about going out of business due to overwhelming future claims.

Insurance Companies will be rubbing their hands with glee as they contemplate increasing premiums in proportion to the pessimistic forecasts by the Global Warming doomsayers.
