So they either had to find new partners or pull out as well. Guess it was easier to pull out than find new partners and then try to claim it was because of a conscience.
Would be hard really hard to find any new partners willing to risk joining ENEOS in this endeavor.

Japan is feeble!
The military junta is killing its own citizens and Japanese companies are still loathe to pull out without extreme pressure.
Personally, I boycott companies which don’t have a conscience…

It's baffling !
The only thing that makes sense is Japan is upset its occupation of Burma/Myanmar was thwarted.
It's like history is repeating itself and Japan's quest for Asian has started up again.

Good for them, but the Japanese defense ministry still educates the Myanmar officers at their defense University. Shameless.

Japan's relationship and dealings with Myanmar are confusing !
Is it about money and resources or about human rights ?
